TEXAS HILL COUNTRY

FISHING
Largemouth bass are always a favorite of many anglers. Smallmouth bass can be found around rocky outcrops. The hybrid striped bass population is currently very good in the reservoir, with many keeper-sized fish ready to strike. Quality white bass are present in small numbers and can be caught using small spoons or shad imitating jigs off open water points. RIDING
The Texas Hill Country is one of the most popular and most beautiful riding areas in the country. Scenic highways and back roads curve around mountain sides with deep gullies, sharp turns and picturesque scenery, especially when the wildflowers bloom in the Spring. The Hill Country is a biker-friendly community with many memorable rides including: The Good Ol' Texas loop, The Gruene-Fredericksburg-Bandera Loop and Twisted Sisters.

BANDERA COUNTY PARK AT MEDINA LAKE
The public boat ramp at the Bandera County Park at Medina Lake allows visitors to launch their boat or other water toys. The park also has a swimming area, picnic tables, and restrooms. For hours of operation, fees and rules & regulations:
